ROK Acquires RAM

Close Protection, Physical Security and Corporate Intelligence Company, RAM, to market ROK Homeland Security service to Government Agencies globally.

ROK Global PLC, the mobile and web technology development company, has today announced it has acquired close protection and corporate intelligence company RAM for GBP £2.4 million (EUR € 2.77 million) payable in shares.

RAM will be re-branded ROK Asset Management as a result.
 
Managed by ex-British Army Special Forces personnel, RAM specialises in providing close protection services for high net worth individuals, including members of several Royal families, as well providing physical security for high value assets such as oil and gas installations as well as undertaking corporate intelligence services for companies and, with revenues forecast to exceed £2.5 million (EUR €3 million) in F/Y 2011/2012, and £6 million (EUR €7 million) in 2012/2013, RAM will also market ROK Homeland Security (RHS) service to government agencies including law enforcement and counter-terrorism services across the world.  
 
Commenting, Jonathan Kendrick, Chairman and CEO of ROK said “Given the success we have already achieved with RHS in the US, it’s wholly natural to bring the expertise and extensive contacts of RAM into the ROK Global family as we expand, develop and deploy RHS worldwide.”
 
ROK Homeland Security is a mobile phone-based service which provides real-time, secure technologies to assist law enforcement officers in the gathering and management of information in a variety of formats including encrypted data based communications and improved spatial awareness capabilities.  RHS has been specifically designed for use in counter-terrorism operations, criminal investigations, counter-narcotic operations, physical security, evidence-gathering and field communications.  

Listed on the Open Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, ROK  Global PLC was co-founded by US Billionaire John Paul DeJoria and UK-based serial technology-specialist entrepreneur, Jonathan Kendrick.
