ROK Global Co-Founders Meet With Xiu.com Founder To Confirm Launch Date For JP Selects in China

Backed by USD $100 million investment, Xiu.com, China’s biggest online luxury and fashion shopping portal, will launch JP Selects in China on June 28th

ROK Global PLC, the technologies, applications and services company, has announced its co-founders, John Paul DeJoria and Jonathan Kendrick along with Paolo Fidanza, the CEO of JP Selects, met with G. Jiwenhong, CEO and Founder of Xiu.com in Shenzen, China, on the 26th of May to cement the relationship between the companies and to confirm the JP Selects branded portal on Xiu.com, aimed at eco-conscious consumers, will launch on the 28th of June.

JP Selects is believed to be the world’s fastest-growing members-only online platform to promote the best eco-friendly and sustainable products, brands and companies through flash sales, an online marketplace and distribution partnerships.

Xiu.com, backed by $100 million investment from KPCB and Warburg Pincus, is China’s biggest online luxury and fashion shopping portal with a mission to ‘Bring the Best of the World to China’. Xiu.com has 1,300 employees and offices and warehouses in Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong and has grown to a current total in excess of 2 million registered users generating 4 million online page views per day.

Internet penetration in China now reaches 28% of the population, with 187 million Chinese people shopping online in 2011. More than 360 million Chinese people are expected to become online shoppers by 2015.
