ROK Launch Mobile Subscription Services in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh

ROK Global PLC, the UK-based mobile and web technology, applications  and services company, has announced further deployments of its ‘Soccer Alerts’ subscription service with Mobile Operators Zain and STC in Saudi Arabia, Qtel in Qatar and Zain in Bahrain.

These deployments are in addition to similar subscription services deployed by ROK in April 2011 to Airtel in Nigeria and Zain in Jordan and Iraq.  

Designed to provide near-live updates, news and scores from all the major soccer leagues to subscribers mobile phones via SMS, ROK’s Soccer Alert  service is charged at between USD $0.50c and  $1.00 per week depending on the market.

Furthermore, ROK has also deployed its ‘Comics’ application subscription service for mobile phones to Dialog in Sri Lanka and to Airtel in Bangladesh.
