ROK continues deployment of Soccer Alerts service with three further Mobile Operator launches in Kenya

ROK Global PLC, the mobile, web and industrial technology, applications and services company, has announced the deployment of its ‘Soccer Alerts’ SMS service with Kenyan Mobile Operators Safaricom, Airtel and Yu.

This follows the deployments of the Soccer Alerts subscription services in Nigeria with Etisalat, in Ghana with Tigo and MTN, in Zambia with MTN and in Malaysia with Mobile Operators Digi, Maxis and Celcom, in Brunei with DSTcom and b-mobile and are in addition to similar services in operation with Zain and STC in Saudi Arabia.

Designed to provide near-live match score updates and daily news from the English and major European soccer leagues, cups and tournaments, including the current African Cup of Nations, direct to subscribers mobile phones via SMS and Audio reports, ROK’s Soccer Alert service is charged at between USD $0.50c and $1.00 per week or by message delivered, depending on the market, with ROK receiving a share of revenue earned.
